About

River Valley Flower Farm is a small family flower farm growing specialty cut flowers for the local Pagosa Springs area. We will be offering in 2023  weekly bouquet subscriptions, or pick up bouquets when needed at the Pagosa Springs Farmers Market. In addition to bouquets, for the 2023 season, we will begin offering  buckets of blooms direct to the customer at wholesale prices. This is a great option for any DIY wedding or other event wishing to save money on fresh flowers by making DIY flower arrangements.  We specialize in Dahlias and have curated a beautiful collection. Our tubers are for sale in the spring.

About the owners/growers;

Cheri has been gardening for over 25 years, inspired by her Grandmothers amazing flower and vegetable gardens that she often helped with as a child. Watching her grandmother start seeds, place seedlings under the lights and transfer to the cold frames to harden off and grow out in the garden was always a thing of beauty. She was growing flowers for the bees for years before deciding to offer to the local area as well. We never use any harmful chemicals or fertilizers. The family often helps with the many chores of the farm.

Scott/Danny/Brendon/Jordan and Cheri also run an apiary on the property. Beekeeping is a favorite hobby of ours and we sell honey when we have extra to help cover some of the expenses of Beekeeping. Our honey is available in a few stores in Pagosa Springs, when we have it. (Seasonal) When we don't have it available, we offer Southwest honey from a trusted beekeeper over the hill in the San Luis valley.
